Name the Newsletter Contest!!!
We need a catchy name for the newsletter, throw us some ideas. Email, fax, or drop them off.

The Agrifair is coming:
We will need lots of staff for this country fair. We supply the Agrifair with parkers, ticket takers, cashiers, grounds work, first aid, and security. The Agrifair is the second largest tourist attraction in Abbotsford.

Teamfile:
Each payday we will try to introduce you to another team member of Medallion.
Name: Val Pollard
Position: Team Leader
Also works with: Baby Chickens
Childhood Nickname: Barley
Hobbies: Reading, & Hiking
Interresting Facts: Used to be a constable at the SPCA for a few years, loves animals (that’s why she likes to work at Medallion). And she would like to drive heavy machinery one day.

Email in a set of qustions and answers about yourself to medsec@telus.net, or drop off a set of questions. Include a picture of yourself, and you may just see yourself in a future newsletter.

Remember:
September is when the events at Tradex kick off, we will be needing lots of staff during this time. There will only be two shows to warm up with before we do Tradex’s biggest event, the motorcycle show. The rumor is that this year it will be a paid parking lot event!!! So if you’ve done the Bike show in the past you will know how busy the parking lot is, now it will be even busier. So please spread the word that we will need more housekeepers, parkers, cashiers, and security, and get your reliable friends interested in working for us.

If you received a TD1 or TD1BC with a paycheque: we’re still waiting for those forms to be handed back to us, so please fill them out and drop them off or fax them to us ASAP.

Classifieds?
Have something to say, something nice about a co-worker? Have something to sell? Want to get the word out? Email, drop-off, or phone in what you want to say and we will try to fit it into the next newsletter.

Special Mention goes out to Nathan Tinsley,
Who single handedly demanded an angry intoxicated man to cease and desist what he was doing, the only damage that entailed from this episode was Nathan’s broken cellphone.

To all Staff:
If you have any schedules attached to your paycheque remember to call the office and confirm your shifts.
All parkers and beer ticket sellers working the Pro Bull July 28 & 29th meet at the office 1 hour before your shift (16:00) beer ticket sellers that means 1 ½ hours before your shift. This is when the carpool will be leaving, don’t be late.
